The beach "Banana Beach" is known to many tourists on the island of Zakynthos. Crowds of vacationers come there every day to have a good time. Wonderful place but noisy!
If you are not a supporter of noisy beaches and bustle of people, we recommend that you visit a nearby beach, little known, but no worse, and maybe even better, well, it seems to us.
It is very close, about one kilometer from the aforementioned Banana Beach and Porto Zorro Beach, i.e. between these two famous beaches.
The beach is unofficial, and therefore has no official name. Geographically, it is located near the mini-hotel Acquero Studios, modestly standing on the shores of the Ionian Sea, in the village of Ano Vasilikos, on the island of Zakynthos, in Greece.
The surrounding nature in the area of Acquero Studios is the same as on the Banana Beach, but the green vegetation approaches closer to the sea, which makes this place more pleasant, both visually and by ear, because the trees are inhabited by colonies of Cicadas, the relaxing singing of which is heard on the beach.

And on the neighboring beach "Banana Beach" there is no such musical relaxation, because the entire coastline is lined with sunbeds and deck chairs, and there are as many people on the beach as there are seals on the rookery.

Sea

The entrance to the sea is gentle. Because of this, the Ionian Sea in this area warms up very well. The water is clean and clear. The bottom is mixed, composed of sand and pebbles.
There are very few people on the beach. Romance! And in the sea, except for you, almost no one is nearby. In a word - Paradise!

Beach cafe with pool

Acquero Studios has a café called the Caretta Bar. It is located between the hotel itself and the seashore. The cafe has a freshwater pool. Guests at Acquero Studios can use the pool for free. If you do not live in this hotel, then you can also use the pool for free, but on one condition, you must order something from the menu of this cafe. The price of the issue is nothing!
And besides, you still want to have a bite, one way or another, not even for the sake of the pool, but because on vacation in Greece you always want to eat. And beautiful and cozy Greek outdoor cafes, with exuding smells of delicious food, only increase your appetite and desire to eat.
Prices in the cafe are quite reasonable. The service is friendly. The cafe is nice to sit at a shady table and relax a bit from the scorching sun. The cafe has two entrances and exits. One directly from the parking lot, and the second - access to the sandy beach.
Leaving the cafe, taking just one step, you find yourself on a beautiful beach. There are almost no people on the beach or very few, because the bulk of tourists do not know about this place, and at this time they storm the neighboring famous beach "Banana Beach".

Umbrellas, chaise lounges, shower

Another feature of this cafe is that having eaten in it, you can use for free not only the pool, but also sun loungers with umbrellas, both those located in the cafe near the pool and those located directly on the sandy beach.
And besides the above, at the cafe "Caretta Bar" there is a shower with fresh water. It is located at the entrance to the cafe from the beach.
